Got a call while doing baking and didn't answer.  Came to the computer to see where the number was from.  Thanks for posting this.

i also received a call from this number but i never picked up the phone

i received many calls from this company and was considering to put down my rates. they knew my balance and credit number of both my cardsthe name was joel joseph and gave me the number (403) 648-9228

This number called me and when I didn't pick up, left a mumbled and brief message. NEVER CALL AGAIN!
I am also on the DNC list but obviously that doesn't help much.

Tried to get credit card information including expiry dates.Claimed to be a program from MasterCard to lower the interest rate

These people are really ramping up there game.  I recieve at least 2 telephone calls a day, from this number or there 877 number.  Nothing you can about them because they are calling on behalf of one of your existing suppliers. ie Mastercard, Sears, Visa, etc. I have tried to reason with them, threaten them, called the authorities, even went so far as to threaten my Credit Card and Bank with termination.No amount of pressure can stop these people.  They are located at hugh call center in India and do not respect international law as such.  Even changing you phone number won't stop them, everytime your credit report is updated by one of your lenders, they have your new number. Talking with your telco carrier doesn't work, as they use international telco lines and are VOIP so they are almost unstoppable.If you do find a way, other than going without any type of telephone/Cell please post here so we can benefit.
