I am located in Calgary and I received a call on Feb. 5, 2011 from (647) 288-1289. The male caller did not introduce himself to me, i.e. his name or which company he was working for. I asked him multiple times to tell me who he was and where he was calling from. He was calling to request that I "confirm" my credit card information with him. I told him to remove me from this call list and he hung up on me. I reported the call: https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/plt-cmp-eng.

Just received call fromthis number with the name ONTARIO on the caller ID..this person said his name was Raymond..and knew how many credit cards I had..said I had been selected because I had paid my credit cards on time for many months and that he could set up a life time low interest rate, because due to recession, lots of people not using credit cards and crdeit card companies loosing tons of money..wanted to know if my combined balances were over $2500..and said he could set up a three way conference call with the lending institution..sia he represented TD, BMO, CIBC and a host of others.. ..I asked for his number..told him I'd have to review this with someone in my family who would know whether I needed it..and if I did they would call him back. He said his number was 1-+1 877-741-2006 ext 923 something like interest reduction department.

I just received a call from (647) 288-1289 about credit rates. I pushed 9 as directed and was connected to a "live operator" - their words not mine. I told him I did not want calls from them and to un-list me. He hung up on me.

Someone called from (647) 288-1289. The left message that I don't understand. Sounds like they were speaking Indian - and you can hear allot of people talking in the background - though I don't understand them - another language - sounds Indian. Sounds like allot of other telemarkters in the background.
