These people are really ramping up there game.  I recieve at least 2 telephone calls a day, from this number or there 877 number.  Nothing you can about them because they are calling on behalf of one of your existing suppliers. ie Mastercard, Sears, Visa, etc. I have tried to reason with them, threaten them, called the authorities, even went so far as to threaten my Credit Card and Bank with termination.

No amount of pressure can stop these people.  They are located at hugh call center in India and do not respect international law as such.  Even changing you phone number won't stop them, everytime your credit report is updated by one of your lenders, they have your new number.

Talking with your telco carrier doesn't work, as they use international telco lines and are VOIP so they are almost unstoppable.

If you do find a way, other than going without any type of telephone/Cell please post here so we can benefit.

Just received call fromthis number with the name ONTARIO on the caller ID..this person said his name was Raymond..and knew how many credit cards I had..said I had been selected because I had paid my credit cards on time for many months and that he could set up a life time low interest rate, because due to recession, lots of people not using credit cards and crdeit card companies loosing tons of money..wanted to know if my combined balances were over $2500..and said he could set up a three way conference call with the lending institution..sia he represented TD, BMO, CIBC and a host of others....I asked for his number..told him I'd have to review this with someone in my family who would know whether I needed it..and if I did they would call him back.He said his number was 1-+1 877-741-2006 ext 923 something like interest reduction department.

Telemarketer scam calling kijiji customers I cant stop reading these forms you can tell its a few scam company's fight more with each other then customer complaints!  (587) 352-1203 myautoagent.com just called with a b.s story about having buyers for or unit.

I am located in Calgary and I received a call on Feb. 5, 2011 from (647) 288-1289. The male caller did
not introduce himself to me, i.e. his name or which company he was working for. I asked him multiple times to tell me who he was and where he was calling from. He was calling to request that I "confirm" my credit card information with him. I told him to remove me from this call list and he hung up on me. Received a call but didn't answer. When I call them back its always busy.
