Generally the same crap as the other callers...except it was TVS Gifting Center at 216 Chrislea Rd...etc. They sounded Indian or Pakistani. No caller ID.
It's so obvious it's a scam.

at the first few seconds of the conversation i cannot seem to understand what the other person on the phone is saying, so after awhile he said i won a prize for a $1000, i was skeptical and he knows i am, he is addressing my name wrong too 'cause my name is too long that the telephone company wasn't able to cover the characters of my name so i guess that is why, he cannot tell me which particular store, he just told me that for sure i went for a christmas shopping and i may not be able to remember entering a contest 'cause it was so distant ago, so being polite i let him go on, he then mentioned/asked me if i have shopped at walmart, zellers or sears, so i recounted that sometime i did with some purchases i enumerated thinking it will give me a memory if i have filled up something,(he is lucky to guess, 'cause the date he said i went for a shopping is possible 'cause i have looked up my calendar) anyhow, he said you are a winner just draw your prize from this address i will give you, and he by the way ask that "you are a couple right?" and i was like well i am relatively single so that there's no need for me to bring my boyfriend in any of this, anyhow, finally i asked his name after he mentioned all the prizes, he is not even good with words, his name as he refers to is "kevin peterson" he is referring to it as a "ballot" instead of coupon, and why on earth will one join a contest that you have to be transferred to his senior officer to give you the gift number and doesn't come with a certificate. he congratulated me, we got disconnected he said his senior officer will call, after some minutes i did receive a call and got disconnected again, and another one, he did not even introduce himself his first question was "are you skeptical, do you have a question?" at this point i am infront of my computer already have browsed for the address given and found comments that it was a great scam....and my gut feelings were confirmed, i hope some officials would act on this,i asked his name he said josh, i said what is the number of the address you gave me (216 chrislea Rd woodbridge ON L4L 8S5) the number he gave me was (905) 692-9047, i tried calling it while he is on the other line with my other phone just to find out that it is a long distance number. hope this will help and serve as a precaution to everyone, do not confirm anything so to be at the safe side. hope this would help and i hope there will be no grave victims or whatsoever, they sound desperate. --unfortunately i do not have a caller id so i cannot really trace the number 'cause i was thinking there's no need too for the reason that i have disseminated my number strictly to family and friends. just a notice to everyone.

See phone# (905) 481-0571 for the full story.I too recieved this phone call yesterday. The man's name was James Lee and he was calling from CGC (Canadian Gifting Center). I was to go with my husband to 216 Chrislea Rd., 2nd floor, Woodbridge. He passed me to the senior manager, Rohan Persaud, who arrange an appointment, gave me a table number, as well as a gift claim ID#. He also told me his phone # (905) 595-4591 and the head office phone # (647) 259-8804, both of which did not work. They have no website and all of the information I have seen about this company is that it is a scam and that if you try to decline they just get really mad and might even threaten you and your family since they have all of your information (name, address, annual income, phone#, etc.). I do not plan on attending this however if they call me back again I will definetely be calling the police. If you get this call, please do not give them any information!!! They already have a bunch of information and they really shouldn't have it confirmed or have any additional information given to them.
