regularly call and I regularly ignore. If it's MBNA...I'm not surprised..Thegovernment says not to go into debt and those bar-stewards say please go into debt.

I keep getting calls from (613) 907-2516 at different hours and wish they would stop calling. It has gotten to the point that I will not answer my phone when the number appears and if people block the number and it comes up blocked call, I figure if you do not want me to know who you are, I do not want to speak to you. I don't have time for this nonsense, life is to short.

It really amounts to intruding and harassing. I suspect this is the irritating MBNA, whom I never answer, but I do not know how to stop the nonsense.I wish they would read all these comments.

I got calls from this number and it is in fact from MBNA. I called them and asked them, and MBNA said telemarketers are calling people around asking for 5% cash back for the first 6 months. It's not a scam, but it just sounds like one.... And the card they are offering sounds too good... haha...

I'm not sure when some people are going to understand that you never give your personal information out, especially your bank account number and/or social insurance number, to people who randomly call you or email you. Canadian banks usually have these warnings on their documentation and tell you when you open an account that banks will never phone you and ask you for personal identifiable information or bank account numbers and passwords. If a bank has to speak to you they will have you call your bank branch or go to your bank branch in person.
