I agree it might be a fax...why...because i've said hello two days in a row and...there was no one there. Then today I let it go to machine...no message...but the weird thing is...no fax machine sounds...just dead air.

Just got the call in Ottawa. No message. Called back, and got an automated voice saying "The number 737-8898 is equipped for outgoing calls only".

This is in fact an Ottawa General Hospital number. ?Just goat a call reference changing an appointment with teh eye clinic.  I suspect the same caller ID number shows up for calls out of numerous departments.

This is the Ottawa General Hospital line for confirming appointments.  It is outgoing only.  They do not leave messages because they need to speak to you directly to be sure you get the correct appointment information,
