I agree it might be a fax...why...because i've said hello two days in a row and...there was no one there. Then today I let it go to machine...no message...but the weird thing is...no fax machine sounds...just dead air.

It is a general number for outgoing calls from the general hospital in Ottawa. surgeon or mri or admin clerk will call from this number througout the whole complex.

This is in fact an Ottawa General Hospital number.  Just goat a call reference changing an appointment with teh eye clinic.  I suspect the same caller ID number shows up for calls out of numerous departments.

They keep calling me at work but they only let the phone ring once... I can't answer. No one I know could be at the hospital right now and it can't be for me since I live on the Quebec side... it's annoying....
