I agree it might be a fax...why...because i've said hello two days in a row and...there was no one there. Then today I let it go to machine...no message...but the weird thing is...no fax machine sounds...just dead air.

My call was definitely from The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Ctr Radiology Oncology Dept.If you're receiving weird calls with foreign accents, it can be from a country such as India, Pakistan or Africa;  I was watching an investigation on TV's Marketplace or Fifth Estate where these people are able to make it look like they're calling from an Ottawa (613) number when in reality they are calling from another country, often a call Ctr trying to sell you something like "Duct Cleaning" or trying to scam you.  You can report questionable unwanted calls through a Cdn Gvmt web site.I believe it's CRTC who handles these reports

Yup, it's the Ottawa General Hospital... but not specifically MRIs, my girlfriend works there (but nowhere near radiology) and just called me via this number. It's cool.

I got a call from the same number, and called back (613) 737-8899 with extention. But they don't know why they did call me. I was scared as it was calling from Hospital....

got a message last night, left me a message , said hi this is james, talk to you later , bye.
tried calling back and says outgoing calls only...
