Just got a call from this number. 613 being my local area code i took the call and no one was on the other end ready to talk. I am on Rogers Wireless in Ottawa.

We received 5 calls (3 calls yesterday and 2 calls today) from (613) 688-2311. He also knows my son's name somehow. Did he know any of your names? He hangs up when asked the purpose of his call. When I tried to call back to the number, the system is busy most of the time and the system says "let bell notify you when the line is free within next 30 minutes, press star; $1.50 applies"

get daily calls from this number,  answered today and guy with thick accent said i won a free phone from bell,  would be shipping in 3-5 business days,  i asked him if he was from bell what is my acct # and he said he has my name, address and phone number on file from bell,  but no acct # because he's in the sales dept. ... it's a scammer, figured he was working up to trying to get a SIN or CC#... when i started questioning him he asked how old i was,  i told him 37 and he apologized... like he would have preferred a young person/kid he could fool... idiot

I have 5-10 phone calls a day every day starting Monday July 5, 2010. We could see on call display only number 000-000-0000. Other day we had phone call from the same person, my son recognized his voice the number was (613) 866-2311. The guy tried to sell some unknown drugs for $460.00 and asked the credit card number and offered to come to our house and bring the drugs. He knows our last and first names, our address and it is scares us a lot. I reported to police, but phone calls continue again and again. All our family is just sick and tired of this. I would appreciate it if somebody can HELP.Thank you.

The guy's a scammer, he called me representing Microsoft today, a couple weeks ago I had him going really good, and I asked him how the kids were, since I could hear them fighting in the background.The phone calls are coming from somewhere in this square. Laurier/Somerset(running east/west) and Elgin St/Queen Elizabeth Drive(Running North/South)I warned him next time I'm reverse tracing the full way and coming to his house. Lets see if he calls again.

Got the same call here today. No-one on the other end. When I researched google it said it was from the National Diabetes Dept in Ottawa.  This showed up on a PDF file for the national Diabetes Dept. Could be a misprint, I suppose.
