get daily calls from this number,  answered today and guy with thick accent said i won a free phone from bell,  would be shipping in 3-5 business days,  i asked him if he was from bell what is my acct # and he said he has my name, address and phone number on file from bell,  but no acct # because he's in the sales dept. ... it's a scammer, figured he was working up to trying to get a SIN or CC#... when i started questioning him he asked how old i was,  i told him 37 and he apologized... like he would have preferred a young person/kid he could fool... idiot

This number showed up as the caller when I called using Skype. It's not always this number that shows up when I call from Skype. In fact, I think this is the first time it did. Strange.

I have 5-10 phone calls a day every day starting Monday July 5, 2010. We could see on call display only number 000-000-0000. Other day we had phone call from the same person, my son recognized his voice the number was (613) 866-2311. The guy tried to sell some unknown drugs for $460.00 and asked the credit card number and offered to come to our house and bring the drugs. He knows our last and first names, our address and it is scares us a lot. I reported to police, but phone calls continue again and again. All our family is just sick and tired of this. I would appreciate it if somebody can HELP.Thank you.

I am getting these phone call also.  I am with Bell.  I answer and no one is at the other end.  I call back and the line is always busy.  I have an option with bell to block phone numbers so that is what I will do.

This company called me 3 times today to conduct a survey.  haha you should hear their questions, I made it about half way - all with fake answers before I requested a manager.  The first 2 people refused to  send me to the manager, and just kept talking.  The third person sent me to the manager.

I asked her:
1) the name of the company = SBT
2) how they got my number = calling residential listings
3) if she was aware that she was breaking the law by calling me after I removed my name from the list over a year ago = "yes, sorry about" was her response followed by a hang up.

Why is it that they can ask 100's of questions, but can't answer more than 3?

I get this number when a friend is using a long distance savings calling card, the number is the calling cards local (Ottawa) number it sends calls through. He usually calls when he is on the road between Toronto and Montreal.
