Here's how to end the madness. Whenever call-display shows a number where the name should be, it's a telemarketer. Just answer like this using your real last name, "Smith, shipping... "  If they ask if it's you say yes, but they've reached you at work. If they ask if they've reached a business say, "Yes, this is the shipping department of Western Plastics. How may I help you?" They just apologize and hang up... Then they flag your number as non-residential, and never phone you again.

It would be good if the Canada Do Not Call List regulations made people give their name along with their number. Then you could make up your mind. They did not bother to leave a message.

Just got a call from them.  Hung up on them.  I'm on the Do Not Call list yet I'm getting these calls. F*** you Harper.

Getting 2-4 calls per day from these idiots for the past 6 months! Hurray for call display! They don't leave messages and from now on I will just take the phone off the hook and let them dangle! Guess who I will never vote for??
