Got a call today & did not answer as I did not recognize this #.  Immediately went to check this # on the internet & now am reporting.

I contacted the conservative party directly, concerning this number and found out that it is a company the have outsourced to for fund raising and such They do not list their number because of some lose rules do not require them to since they are not the actual party contacting you but a contractor. Slick eh. I told the very polite person at the conservative party fund raising department that i wanted my name and number removed from their lists that they give to the contractors and any person in my house hold, they did so without question and were very polite about it. I then told them to take a look at this site and see what this contractor is doing and how they are really making people angry and maybe they should realize that this contractor is not helping but hindering their goals for fund raising. Don't know if they will but they  thanked me for the feed back and said they would investigate. i would suggest to anyone else to try the same route to get of their list and let them know the are winning any votes or donations with this contractor.

this number called my duaghers looking for me by a name I have not used for 4 years!  when I called back operator says number is disconnected.The woman gave my daughter a hard time claiming that I must be at that number, was sure I was not there!

People, these calls annoy me too, but it is not the Harper government calling you; it is a paid outbound calling company hired by the government.  The employees arn't that well paid; it's not that hard of a job.  If you think they are being rude to you because you don't support the conservatives, its almost gauranteed that they are simply reflecting your rudeness towards them for just doing their jobs; these callers are in no way actually associated with the conservatives by voting preference, they are only connected by employment... cut them some slack, show some composure as a Canadian, and get on with your day.

I get calls from this number  (613) 667-9148 at least twice a week.  I see the number in quotes.  My son  very patiently picks it up and tells them we are not interested in the services they are offering but this does not stop them from calling.I have registered on DO NOT CALL LIST and inspite of this I receive calls from marketing companies.  Can the authorities please look into it and levey heavy fines on these companies?
