Well isn't that something-! I decided on a whim to Google this number and what do you know! I'm not alone.
I was not home the two or three times they've called so far, but the second time there was one "hello?" on the answering machine — it sounded like an Asian girl — and the third time, which was today, a man left an interesting 5-second message in some kind of Chinese (sounded a bit like Cantonese).
Kinda funny, actually, wish I could play it for you here, it's almost as if he's saying "oh, I guess you're not home, I'll call you later".
But we're in Canada??? So... what the heck???

Just received 2 cals today from the (613) 667-9148 number in Toronto Area. Spoke to someone who states that they are representing the Conservative Party and that I owe them $200. Which I state that I did not agree upon and they said that I was recorded from a previous phone conversation that I would send them money.I stated that I am not going to send any money and then asked for a credit card number.Asked if I could send maybe $100 after arguing with him that I will not send any money.They stated that I was up for collections and need to send the money ASAP.Called the number back but could not tell what the message states of where this number is from.I will ask next time to remove my number from the call list

be carefull its not some LAAAAAZZZZZY  person to LAAAAAZZZZZY to get a real job, and making believe he or she works for the gouvernment, befor you donate ! most people now at this time cant efford to donate anything to anyone. i sure miss the times when people really worked and had good

I just got the call and answered it...  It was a representative of the PC and Stephen Harper..  I told them if they called 1 more time we would never ever think of supporting him... We would vote for anyone but... Lets see if it worked
