A message at this number identifies as Conservative Party of Canada requesting your name and number,stating that someone will call you back.

I have recd a dozen calls from this number in the last week. ?They have left no messages but when I called the number back it was the Conservative Party of Canada and I got a machine.  I left two messages asking them not to call me and a third saying that they should look into voting either NDP or Liberal - but please stop calling me.  Nothing seems to work.  I think everyone who gets a call from this number should call the number back - you will get a machinre - and leave a vote liberal or vote NDP message and a request that they not call your number.  Maybe that would work since being polite does not.

I suggest you buy an airhorn of some description and when you get one of these calls, do whatever you have to do to get in touch with a live person; when they come on the line, blast the airhorn into the phone and hang up.  If this spreads across the continent we will be able to identify the people who work for the companies that make these calls by their hearing loss in one ear.  We can then beat them to death.  It might also be advisable to invest in hearing aid stock at the same time.

Conversative Gov't party looking for donations.

Everything with scams are a numbers game. So we are seeing these callers use the "conservative Party" as there "sell" to you for one simple reason. The conservatives were voted in.. so .. the odds then are that you are more likley conservative then Liberal or NDP. ?See the maddness? I just got the call myself and gave them an ear full on your behalf too ! :)
