Just got a call from (613) 667-9148 asking for donation to pass the anti-crime bill. This guy told me that he was calling on behalf of Harper. I told him never to call me back again with this issue as I do not support the anti-crime bill and the fact that you don't need money to raise "awareness" as this guy has put it.

It's that Conservative Party again!  I called them at 1-+1 866-808-8407 a couple of days ago to AGAIN remove me off their list.  Apparently my previous attempt was only "partially removed".

If you get a call from this number is because you or someone at your house is or has been a member or donator for either the Conservative Party, ?PC Party, Canadian Alliance or Reform Party.They don't do random calls. They only call people in their list of current or former members & donators.And if everyone in your house says they're not members, well someone's lying =)Also, the Canadian Do Not Call List does not apply to political parties and charitable organisations, so you have to tell them to remove you from their list and never call you again.

This number has called my house 4 times tonight. That is why I subscribe to call display. If I don't know the number, I let the answering machine pick up the call.
IMO if the call is important enough, they will leave a message
