I used to support Conservatives. With their horrible telemarketing, I have stopped.  Now their telemarketing calls come from this exact number.   For certain it is Conservative, or hired people for Conservatives, as they knew my past support history from before the telemarketing time.   I would recommend not giving anything to them, otherwise they will not leave you alone.

call from this number asking for "George",  has been calling for several days now...told him he had a wrong number

Just received a call from this number, didn't answer.

I answered the call, and female voice asked for "Ken".

I said "thank you for calling our online phone-sex service; we charge $5.99 per minute.
So that we can continue, I need your credit-card number.  Do you have VISA or MASTERCARD?"

That stunned her into silence, for about a minute, before she quietly hung-up.

Since I'm a Shaw Telephone customer, I have used (star)(six)(zero) to BLOCK all future calls from this telephone-number.  This is a _FREE_ service from Shaw (and, I'm told, from Telus).

It would be good if the Canada Do Not Call List regulations made people give their name along with their number. Then you could make up your mind. They did not bother to leave a message.

Just got a call from them they asked for my friends first name and my last name. I told them this person did not exist and hung up.
