When you get a call from this #, and they say they are from the Conservative Party, don't believe it.  These are people hired to irritate voters working against the Conservative Party.  The Conservative Party must really have them running scared in order to come up with this scam.

They phoned several times in late 2009 looking for my husband, he was home the last time and told them we weren't interested in giving them money.  This time they asked for my daughter's name, I told the gentleman that she is 4 and to take our number off of their list.  My phone is supposed to block unknown name and numbers so I guess to get around it they have their number come up as the name.  Ticks me off to no end.

Everything with scams are a numbers game. So we are seeing these callers use the "conservative Party" as there "sell" to you for one simple reason. The conservatives were voted in.. so .. the odds then are that you are more likley conservative then Liberal or NDP. ?See the maddness? I just got the call myself and gave them an ear full on your behalf too ! :)

Just got a call from this # like 10 mins. ago. asked if Mr. so and so was there (actually the lady used my last name in paticular) so i told her no, hes not here, then she asked if Mrs (again, using my last name) was there. i said no but this is his daughter(big mistake on my part?), and shes like oh, okay, ill try back later then.

This number calls my home at least twice per day.  I feel that I am being harassed. They never leave a message, just hang up before the answering machine answers.

You are full of it. It is just my wife and I in our house.  We've had our phone # for close to 10 years.  Neither of us has donated any money or anything or even supported the Tories.  My wife hates the Tories more then I so your argument of they don't random call is hogwash!
