If you get a call from this number is because you or someone at your house is or has been a member or donator for either the Conservative Party, ?PC Party, Canadian Alliance or Reform Party.They don't do random calls. They only call people in their list of current or former members & donators.And if everyone in your house says they're not members, well someone's lying =)Also, the Canadian Do Not Call List does not apply to political parties and charitable organisations, so you have to tell them to remove you from their list and never call you again.

I answered the call, and female voice asked for "Ken".

I said "thank you for calling our online phone-sex service; we charge $5.99 per minute.
So that we can continue, I need your credit-card number.  Do you have VISA or MASTERCARD?"

That stunned her into silence, for about a minute, before she quietly hung-up.

Since I'm a Shaw Telephone customer, I have used (star)(six)(zero) to BLOCK all future calls from this telephone-number.  This is a _FREE_ service from Shaw (and, I'm told, from Telus).

Just got a call from this #.  Conservative Party canvasser soliciting donations. Laughed at her and politiely told them they were crazy if I thought I would give thei party any money.  Took my sweet time telling them what I thought of their party.

They are calling our home number during the day and not leaving a message.  I work from home and find it very annoying as I juggle several phones as it is and although I don't answer it, it disrupts me!! If it is the Conservatives just stop calling. Why are they allowed to do this. My number is supposed to be on the do not call list

How about being called 4 times in a day? I won't pick up and I give to the Conservatives monthly anyway.

She asked for someone who used to own my home phone number. I stated they are not the current owners of this particular number.
