Here's how to end the madness. Whenever call-display shows a number where the name should be, it's a telemarketer. Just answer like this using your real last name, "Smith, shipping... "  If they ask if it's you say yes, but they've reached you at work. If they ask if they've reached a business say, "Yes, this is the shipping department of Western Plastics. How may I help you?" They just apologize and hang up... Then they flag your number as non-residential, and never phone you again.

they called my house last Sunday and my reply was, "you're calling me on a Sunday......GIVE ME A BREAK" and I immediately hung up. We've requested numerous times to be removed from their list and after three years they are STILL calling my house. I will never vote Conservative again for this reason.

Just got a call from (613) 667-9148 and it was dead air.  I am on the do not call list....but this still got through.  Annoying.

I should have mentioned, my MP's office admitted their mistake in upsetting me.  Make no mistake about this, these calls are from the Conservative Party of Canada.  And they don't have to obey the law of the Do Not Call List, because they are "above the law".

You are full of it. It is just my wife and I in our house.  We've had our phone # for close to 10 years.  Neither of us has donated any money or anything or even supported the Tories.  My wife hates the Tories more then I so your argument of they don't random call is hogwash!
