I also received call from CRA and officer name was Jason.......they want me to call them back in regards to income text......I believe this is fraud and do not response to these peoples.

Today I also received a call from "Jason Miller" telling me my lawyer or I must return his call asap.  (however this call was from (506) 802-8667.  I have received many of these fake ccra calls over the last couple of years.  They always seem to come as a pair of calls.  Sure enough, there was a second call right after, from someone with such a heavy accent I could not understand the name, but I was again instructed to call 506 802 8667.  That area code is Moncton New Brunswick and there IS a CCRA office in that town, but it has a different phone number.  And this time they said my full name in the message.  I wish law enforcement agencies would start taking these calls seriously.  It is upsetting to decent law abiding Canadians and no doubt some of us are being scammed.

Just got a message from him too. Sounds like a load of hogwash. Went to the CRA website and the first thing I read says that it's Fraud Prevention Month and to watch out for this sort of crap.

I did receive a call from this officer, and i have loads of friends who work for cra, they never call u n threaten u In this manner.... Report this call to cops...

Note: most if not all Canada Revenue Agency phone numbers you are likely to need are toll free (800).Mar 28/14: Received voice message from "Officer" Jason Miller of "Revenue Canada" telephone # (613) 604-0194 informing me that I am the subject of a Canada Revenue legal action for fraudulent tax reporting and that I risk serious action if I did not return the call. I called 613-604-0194 and "Officer" Ryan Davis (this guy was not sure how to spell Davis).  He told me that I had multiple counts of fraud against me filed by Revenue Canada for a specified amount of money owing, and continued to list a number of unpleasant actions that can brought against me (the scare tactic).THIS IS A TELEPHONE FRAUD CALL AND SHOULD BE REPORTED OR AT LEAST IGNORED. DO NOT PROVIDE PERSONAL INFORMATION OR SEND ANY MONIES.

Officer Jason Miller I think.  Not clear.  Threatening if you don't call back something would happen but not clear.
