Harvest House is a so-called Christian Rescue mission for men who have addiction problems with drugs and alcohol. They've been around since the early 1980's, but that doesn't automatically make them legitimate or worthwhile as recipients of anyone's money.

Since they are selling calendars to raise funds, I would class them as annoying telemarketers

These guys called me and I was vulgar to them as I am on the CRTC DO NOT CALL LIST. They had the nerve to call me back after I hung up on them. I am reporting them for violating the law.I can not go anywhere with out being bothered for $2.00 donations ( grocery store, drug store, home depot, lcbo, hardware stores etc). Now the hockey season has started and they will be at all the entrances to all venues. I give to CHEO and sponsor 3 minor hockey teams with my business and personal money.Give me a break and leave my private time at home alone.

Add another one to the ever growing list of 'We want money' mongers trying to drum up funds by way of the telephone irritation factor.  People - get a clue... hold an event and advertise through your local media.  Anyone who is interested in your cause will support you.  Calling people by phone and not leaving messages will only hurt your cause... which by the way is for MEN ONLY and that sucks.  Help everyone - then maybe you can bug everyone for cash.  Maybe try calling MEN ONLY and see how that goes.

I don't care that you're a recovering alcoholic, or that it changed your life. You're asking for my alcohol money! HAHAHAHA
