I got the same call in quesnel about a week ago saying they were going to come to my door and arrest me, that they were CRA..i told him very little, then phoned CRA..all  scam, but the CRA worker had said  they have been able to get 100's of thousands out for  many people  beware

Said they were calling from Canada Revenue Agency and that there was a problem with my tax return and that it was incorrect and something about a police report being filed.  I had a hard time understanding this man as his English was not very good. I was suspicious from the start of the conversation and asked why I hadn't received anything in the mail from CRA regarding this issue and his response was that they had already knocked on my door and I was not at home.  I became really suspicious at this point and told him that I didn't think he was calling from CRA and to not call me again.  I did not give any personal information out and if CRA was really calling me they would have asked me security questions but I think in most cases CRA sends something out in the mail.

I answered and a thick accent....bad reception.  I could not understand a word and finally hung up.

East Indian man called on a Saturday and asked for my last name (thought of it after the fact, that he didn't use my first). He went on to say aggressively that he was calling from the CRA, that I have been investigated and found to be cheating on my taxes. I said what exactly did he mean. He was going in circles basically stating the same, you have been found cheating on your taxes and you will be arrested today and that I owed over $1200.  I said what are you talking about??? He said not to worry the call was being recorded and that I was called 5 times that week and given the opportunity to pay. I told him I didn't get any calls and that I'm glad I was being recorded since he wasn't giving me any information. Finally I got fed up with the evasiveness and told him to call the police and arrest me! Then I hung up.
