After 10 days of getting harassing calls I ended up using a high pitched emergency siren placed on the phone receiver. This took approx 3 days before they got the hint.I made countless inquiries and it seems that since the call originates from a foreign country phone number there are no USA FTC regulations in place to stop this harassment. I even tried entering my phone number onto the Canadian Do Not Call list. This was fruitless since we do not live there.This yet another attempt by spammers to avoid the US FTC policies and regulations.They got caught using land lines moved onto cell phone usage and got caught.Now they have resorted to using foreign country phone numbers.As one poster mentioned I entered the number in my cell phone contacts and place the ring tone setting to 'no ring'.

Kept getting calls from (613) 333-3456 and another number from New York.  Same people and scam.  Female with thick Indian accent had the last 4 digits of my credit card and said they wanted to give me a $100 gift card for using my credit card.  I stopped her mid-sentence and told her that was my Father and he had died in a car accident the night before.  Haven't had a call from them since.  A friend who also was getting calls from them started answering the phone, FBI, how can I direct your call.  So far he hasn't received any more calls either.

I have been getting calls from this number advising I have won contest that I have never signed upfor and they try and get my personal information.

This number has called several times over the past two weeks at all different hours of the day and night. Someone said what sounded like my first name once in a thick middle eastern accent. Since then, no message is ever left. I have no idea who this number belongs to. I placed the number on my tcallblocking app. so my cell does not even ring when they call now. I have also filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry. Hopefully, they will stop calling soon.

This number has been calling me for a few weeks as well. And also various times throughout the day.  Luckily its my cell they are calling.  With the Android phones you have the option to send all calls from a specific contact to voice mail. (The number must be in your contacts list though).

Idiots call at 5:00 AM with the lat 4 digits of a credit card and an address thinking you'll be dumb enough to give them the rest of the number based on the promise of a gift card.Get a life you worthless morons.
