Received a call from this number.  The person identified himself with a name I am not certain I could understand.  I believe it was Marcel A.G. Cawdry.  There was a very strong South Asian accent.  He claimed he was from Revenue Canada and that they were filing a law suit against me.  That if I they do not hear from me that he could only wish me luck as the situation unfolds on me.  So many old the elements were wrong, but it still made me uneasy.  I tried to call the number.  It rang, but did seemed to be switched through to another number and then rang again, but in the end did not connect to a person.  I am quite sure that this is bogus, but it none the less rattled me.  It's easy to be more rational about it with time to consider everything, but I can see how someone could get caught up with the threat.

This # called claiming it's the CRA & they have a lawsuite against me??

Just got a call from this number - a guy with a heavy Indian accent tells me there is a lawsuit against me for unpaid taxes (which is bull!) but he couldn't tell me my full name!

"Frank" called our house too. The voice mail recorded almost a minute of whatever sweatshop he was calling from. Blocked the number and reported it as a telemarketer through our phone company.

Claimed to be CRA and I said I already knew about the scam and I hung up

The guy said he was from Revenue Canada, and they did an audit from my 2008 to 2013 taxes and I had to pay more tax. I told "Patrick" that I went bankrupt on those very years but give me the file# and I would take it up with my Member of Parliament.
