I got a text, the troubling part is that I have been estranged from my daughter for several years and the beginning of any text usually has the beginning of the message.  Well I opened the text to view it as it began with," Hey, it's Amanda. I just made a profile on  www.hookupincanada.com  That was it.  Being that my daughter has not been in touch with me in years, I do know that she is not the kind of person who would even check out a site like this, let alone sending a message, the last person that any young lady would send a message to her Dad to check out.  I know, you may think I am bias, a father is not going to admit her daughter would do anything like this.I have not went into the site as the website address says enough for me to know that it is some kind of demeaning and/or sleazy attempt to exploit young women who are preyed upon by men who know that these young ladies have issues with what they have and they pound down the potential they eventually discover as they grow only to be suspended for a short time by using them for their own failings.  It is outrageous that these men have little to no interest in the futures of these women and that they will be judged and have there first lessons of becoming an adult is going to follow them and already set boundaries that lead to a generation of women with drug and alcohol problems, perhaps they could have a chance at a short but life on the edge until you are worn out and your days as the prostitute will be short lived and, if lucky, you may even know the fathers' name.
