They're looking for people to deliver their papers.I reported these people to the National Do Not Call List complaints line, who confirmed that the call isn't exempt even though they're a newspaper because they're not soliciting subscriptions. I'm not holding my breath on this.

I just called the number and asked to be removed from their list (I was getting the same automated call every day.) The guy I talked to was polite enough about it.

I called the twit back and he claimed he was not soliciting. Yes, he was. He was not soliciting for newspaper subscriptions, but for delivery people. I filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call List, although that's pretty much useless since there's been hundreds of thousands of complaints about solicitors logged, almost no fines, and what was fined, most is uncollected. The impotent Canadian government at its finest.
