Soliciting jobs as paperboys. This is not in accordance to the Do Not Call List's rules, which states that a newspaper may call you to solicit subscriptions and nothing less.

This number belongs to Ottawa This Week, a community newspaper that's apparently going to be launched in Ottawa in the near future. They're looking for people to deliver their papers.I reported these people to the National Do Not Call List complaints line, who confirmed that the call isn't exempt even though they're a newspaper because they're not soliciting subscriptions. Matt at Ottawa This Week seems to think they are exempt because they're a) a newspaper and b) they're not selling anything.Matt assured me yesterday (call #2) and again today (call #3) that I would be on their list. I'm not holding my breath on this.

I just called the number and asked to be removed from their list (I was getting the same automated call every day.) The guy I talked to was polite enough about it.
