Good point. If you were a student, as I was, there you already paid them several thousands.

UBC looking for money. Telling you how much they think is a suitable donation. Had to hang up because declining to donate just lead to a debate. Very annoying.

They keep calling. Must be donation. No message at all. Annoying

same here, have been getting multiple calls from (604) 827-4173. i don't recognize the number so i don't answer. they never leave a message. i'm a UBC grad so makes sense it might be fundraising since there's no-one else who would be calling me from this area code... however if indeed it is UBC telemarketing, it's a TERRIBLE way to get any alumni funding!

Telemarketers from UBC calling... I've checked my caller ID records and they have been calling daily. I can't believe that they're calling on a Sunday morning. I've since added the number to my call blocking list.

Got a call from this number twice, but no one answered after I picked up the call.  If this is a fundraiser, then why didn't they say something and just wasted their time playing with the phone????
