UBC looking for money. Telling you how much they think is a suitable donation. Had to hang up because declining to donate just lead to a debate. Very annoying.

received a phone call from (604) 827-4173, very strange, ask me name an address. something about being a UBC fundraiser. I did not give her my name let alone my address.

here's a head's up... any number that starts with 822 will be a UBC number.

I know a friend who used to work as a ubc fundraiser caller, telling them you don't want to be called isn't enough. You have to say you want to be put on the no call list and not to be contacted for any "charity opportunities". They are legit though they are not trying to scam you. Some of the things they fund raise for are pretty important like funding bursaries and scholarships.

Just got in this Monday 9/17/2012 and that number (604) 827-4399 called me three times and no message. I am not at UBC or a UBC graduate, so why do I get their calls and why all the hangup calls to everyone. I am going to report it to Telus as that is where I pay all my money to to not be harassed like this. They have called me before but three times on a Monday morning come on people who harass us, stop the damn nonsense.
