My friend recently had a terrible experience with this ''professional'' that will be posted very soon but I felt the need to come and share my wonderful experience from last month..I called a repair & unlocking service called either iBank or iPhone Doctor to get a quote on a 4S screen repair and the price seemed good so I decided to arrange an appointment with a man named Kento. We arranged to meet downtown near the Round House Skytrain station on a Saturday afternoon. Saturday rolls along and I go to the coffee shop for our appointment and Kento is already 20 minutes late and has not showed nor called me to inform me that he is running late.. I call his phone 4-5 times before finally getting through and he simply says ''im very busy right now' He then says that if I want to meet him it would have to be at some parking lot in the East Hastings area!! I am a girl who is definelty not going to bring my expensive Apple device to meet some stranger I found on Craigslist in some shady area!I had no idea if this guy was legimitate or trying to set me up but my friend had the pleasure of getting his phone repaired (Worst repair work ever & Kento is a compulsive liar!! Proof will be posted)

The owner of this number sold me an item to unlock my iphone 4s that completely fried my device. He sells something called a Gevey Sim card that is used to unlock the iphone 4 and 4s. After doing some research he is obviously selling fakes!! He sells the 4s Gevey for $32 to $40 but if you look online you will not find an authentic Gevey for less than $39.99 American before shipping and taxes! Please do your own research before purchasing from this individual unless you want a $500 paperweight! This is a special micro chip that you are inserting into your phone so be 100% sure you are buying an authentic item.

Kento is a compulsive liar and I wish I had done more research before bringing my iPhone 5 to this con artist...For starters on his advertisements he claims:1. Downtown or go to your place = As my friend Jenny already posted ^^^ This is obviously not the case2. Claims to use 100% Original Apple Parts = Apple does not sell individual parts for repairs like screens or batteries (Even to big retail stores like Best Buy or Futureshop) He is either using fake parts from China or he is gutting used iPhones and doing hardware repairs with old & used parts (Who would gut a brand new iPhone that works for parts?!?!?)3. Fast 30 Min fix on spot = He took 45 Minutes to fix my screen and it was a terrible quality screen and the assembly was rubbish.4. 2 Week Warranty = This is very short considering I have seen other local repair people offer 3-6 Month standard warranties. Combine his crappy work with a short warranty and fake parts and you are looking at a recipe for trouble.5. Our Engineers are trained by Apple = Hahaha Apple is training people to repair phones when they do not even fix phones at their stores and now just offer to sell you a new phone?!?!?!? If this person was going to cook up a lie to sound more professional then at least say your workers took a course at BCIT... To make up something so ridiculous in an attempt to sound more professional should really show people what a con artist Kento is.. Proof that Kento & His business is built around lies:http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=264qkpu&s=6 The reason I am posting this is because I took my iPhone 5 to this ''professional'' without doing more research and ended up throwing money away because the screen simply would not turn on 1 month after Kento worked on my iPhone. When I called him to inquire as to what could be wrong he gave me some lecture about how it could only be my fault because his work is just soo good and he is the best in Canada..A simple phone number lookup will reveal that he is actually a realtor..http://www.royalpacific.ca/realtorsearch/realtor_info.php?realtor_id=2166https://www.facebook.com/kentowong?ref=ts&fref=tsI would certainly never make any kind of major business transaction with this compulsive liar..

Bricked my iPhone 4 while trying to repair the screen. He admitted that he taught himself to repair through watching youtube videos but he would not compensate me for breaking my phone! Be very careful when dealing with this person and I would recommend you bring a friend! He runs some website called ibank that sells fake and cheap items from China.
