I just called back and told them I couldn't make the info sessions. Apparently you sell reference materials door to door.

okay, so the guy CHANGED the story... apparently he calls himself Lee and he's offering a summer internship for Passport Canada? If I heard right... not too sure... because I wasn't there to answer and so he leftme voicemail. I'm really confused now and wondering if I should call back...

He also offered it for both UBC and Langara students and he knew my name and probably my faculty as well.

Some guy asking for people to attend a hearing for Southwestern Summer Internship seminar or something going down at UBC. Sounded a bit fishy, and they got my number by stealing it from a friend of mine. Don't be surprised if they know your name and say a friend recommended you (which your friend likely did not).

My gosh... same here. I'm not sure whether it's a scam or not, but they knew my name and faculty. His name is Nib, if that helps at all. They're having an info meeting, but he never told me which company it was for. Anyone know anything about this internship?
