I've also received a call from this number asking if i was interested in the summer internship job or whatever.
It was kinda freaky cuz he knew my name and my faculty as well.
What should i do?

I got a call too. From (604) 736-8084 I don't like getting involved in these sorts of things. If you do get a call, do your research. I think it's called south western advantage. I just called back and told them I couldn't make the info sessions. Apparently you sell reference materials door to door.

He also offered it for both UBC and Langara students and he knew my name and probably my faculty as well.

Guys, this is not a scam. It is an actual company and a very popular internship at UBC and across North America. I know quite a few people in it.
