Received a call regarding a person. I asked why he called and there is no such person in this address. Guy is rude and the person he look for with the same last name but totally different first name. This company is totally rude and should be banned from doing any business.

The previous comments about this number are correct (being that they are a$$holes). I received a call from 1-+1 888-797-7727 (reverse number look up indicate that it is: Metropolitan Credit Adjusters Ltd) looking for somebody with a similar name. The first guy was not rude, although did ask me 3x for the person (I am not deaf, I heard you the first time). I told them they have the wrong number and the wrong person.

Then, 30 seconds later, I received a call from (604) 684-5449 from an a$$hole (which I assume works for the same company, calling on an untraceable number). He asked for the same person, which I told him there is no one by that name, although the last name is the same. I asked the guy politely to identify himself and his business, to which he rudely responds, "whatever, you don't need to know if it is not you" and hung up.

Okay, I understand collection agencies have a job to do, and I agree perfectly that the people that owes need to pay their debts, but is there a reason why collection agencies make so many mistakes on calling people? Do they even research before going on a witch hunt? I am Asian, and my last name (Lee) is the equivalent of "Smith." They cannot be that retarded to go around and call anybody with the same last name and a similar sounding first name. It is insane. I mention this because this is probably the third time this year I have receive these collection agency calls. The crazy part is, same last names, but 3 different people they asked for. (Side bar: freaking "Lee-s," stop committing fraud or accumulating debts....) There has to be an easier way to avoid these people. I swear I am not the person accumulating these debts, but am so sick of these calls. I don't even think my number is listed.

collection agency , don't even try to talk or explain to them, its useless, they are trained to be ***holes on the phone. Just tell them to go jump in the lake and don't bother calling again.lol

My dad recently bought my new phone from a friend. This number is always calling me almost every single day but I never pick up. I decided to search this number on google and this is what I find!! Unbelievable. Next time I'll pick up and b**** them out.
