First call they left an 877 call back number. Out of courtesy returned the call. Female on other end said it was my Telus mobility was in arrears. When I informed her that I had my bill in my hand and it did not say anything about being in arrears she got quite rude so I hung up. Reported the call to Telus. Not to helpful after giving them the number and extension that I had called. Now am receiving the calls again from this numer with a message to enter extension 770 and ask for Paula. Have not answered. Just going to put call block on this number and see if they call again. As this is fraudulent action you would think the phone company would be a little more aggressive in dealing with these scammers and have them arrested.

I got a call from the "collection bureau" and had a short chat with the collections agent.
I informed her that I am paying directly to Rogers for both the Rogers and Fido accounts. She asked that I contact Rogers to determine how much I paid and the balance remaining.
So I agreed to that, and she passed on the "bureau" contact information. All I agreed to was to contact her in a week or so.
First of all, I know Rogers is getting paid what I owe them because I have a paper trail of my payments. If both accounts were really cancelled then Rogers wouldn't accept payment for both defunct accounts.
The "credit bureau" wants me to determine the balance of my accounts which is easier for them to do because they work with Rogers.
Therefore I will continue paying my Rogers and Fido debts directly rather than through the "bureau".
