I am gdetting calls from them and also faxes

I goggled IPFAX and called the 888 number. It is a company called Biscom in Vancover but the manger told me it was a scam because he also googled the number and told me  about  this forum page and so many complaints and he is hoping he won't get calls of complaints cause it is not them calling or faxing.

The 604 number did not belong to Biscom or any of his clients

Yes very annoying, How do we stop it?

constanly receive calls from this number. all times of day and night. always a beeping sound.

I called the number given by Mom and it was a veterinary services place...she apologized but didn't seem all to surprised that I was receiving nuisance faxes from them. She said she would remove myw number right away - we will see if this works! Today was the last straw my bf worked the night shift and they called 3 times between 8:30-9am!!! Hope this works! I will bookmark this and come back and let you all know - I should know by the end of the week as I get calls daily.

Solutions:

1) In Canada put yourself on the National Do Not Call Registry - look it up on the web

2) In the US call 1 +1 888-382-1222 to get on the Do Not Call Registry.

3) Your phone provided may have a feature where a person cannot ring through unless they reveal thier name or phone number - this is free with Telus and is called Anonymous Caller ID

4) With Telus you can pay $3 / month to block annoying numbers by pressing *60, then #, then enter the 10 digit number, then press# - this will block it

I know it irks to be harrassed at home but try those steps in that order and you should have some releif

I was harassed for months by this number.  You could not fax back and you could not call the number. Phone company would not change my number without charging me. I was unable to actually block the number.  So I had to get a fax machine and hook it up to my home phone. I finally got them! I was being harassed by a DVM service. They have a contact number of +1 888-675-9765. I called it immediately and had my number removed.  There is also a number to call if you have the Reference ID that is actually on the fax that you can call and it is automated. You have to be able to receive the fax in order to get that.  I am hoping that I have resolved this once and for all.  It is very annoying when it happens at all times of the day and NIGHT!  And not just once - they have it set for auto-redial! same thing...constant fax calls and I cannot respondbut this is a different number...no area code  Number is 220-2318 Call display shows call from IPFAXanyone know what area code that number is from? I wanna track them down & report them !!
