okay so 6:32pm on a Saturday evening I received a phone call from this lady who spoke in a more enigmatic fashion than those MLM promoters do when they first see you. She asked whether I liked hockey , which is sort of personal but I said I don't know what hockey is. Showing regret she listed a bunch of free gifts she had for me : a dinner for 2, a digi cam and hockey tickets. Then she said: " I dont want anything from you" and  I said : "I find that  hard to believe as we have been talking for over 2 mins now and you have yet to highlight the reason for your call" and she said : " I am going to have to call you back." and hung up. I googled the number and this thread popped up. I registered a complaint with DNCL but I think it is very important that every one who is annoyed by this telemarketer register a complaint and get a motion going against the company as, there are many vulnerable people in our society/community who can fall prey to these scammers and unwillingly sustain this unwanted nuisance.p.s. Bell Canada is no good too, never do a reauthorized payment setup with them. If they jack you, good-luck getting the money back. I don't know why we have a huge capitalist network setup but little effective intelligence checking up on corporations. BBB also, in effect, seems impotent(just like the UN). I thought Canada was well known for its consumer satisfaction practices. But if a company like Bell Canada can fraud its customers in broad daylight then the micro-scammers have a long time before any effective agency can catch them. (in sincere hopes that DNCL proves me wrong by taking some action against the scammers! or no wait are they in the same league too? like the antivirus companies need computer viruses in order to profit, they too probably need the scammers to keep their jobs, so no scammers (possibly)= no jobs for them, hmmm could it be? I wonder...)
