I just received two calls one from (604) 630-0300 and just before that from (604) 638-5789 - no messages.  Thought I would google and this is what comes up.  These numbers need to be stopped.

Got a call from this number this morning Sep. 25 9:30.  No one answered when I picked up. I guess my voice didn't sound like the type he wanted to scam today.

Received phone call 12:30 noon, Sept 1/08 aking if we had a mortgage.. we said it didn't expire for 2 more years and hung up..I called back within a minute to see which Mortgage Broker had called and found that the number was dis-connected/unavailable.... Called the RCMP who were as usless as tits on a bull.. totally un-interested... Called Shaw digital  operator who put us onto this google site, and found it  is a fraudulent number involved with scamming..

called several times and left no message over the last few weeks. Ive got a few weird calls suggesting they were CIBC bank...i think this may be another try to steal information.
i tried to call back and it states the number you are calling is not in service

this number seems to be what can come up if someone calls you from a skype account.if you don't have a skype account yourself. then. i dunno. but that's what came up when my son called me and that isn't even close to his number. not even the right area code. but he called me from skype. to my digital phone. which i have connected to skype if i'm not online.

I got a call today form this number, did all of you gave your details to CIBC?, I did, if these calls are not from an official CIBC office, how do they get out numbers?? CIBC seems to have some privacy issues on our data, that's scary.
