this number called me this morning...i didnt answer...they left no message

Called my cell phone, left a 5 minute message. ?Three minutes I was put on hold with lame 70's hold music, then I could hear someone go to the washroom, then it sounded like a couple minutes of construction.  VERY wierd.

was called by the number (604) 629-2009 they keep hanging up

Again with a middle of the night call.
All it ever does is beeps. Not the fax beep/static type sound, but beeeep.. pause... beeeeepp.. About 4 or 5 times.
If it's a calling card number or something, what's up with the long beeps? Is HAL9000 calling me?

Received a call @ 11:30 am.  Women's recorded voice - "blah blah - from Gatineau, Quebec."I then hung up.

How did they get your number?  Well the government started the do not call list but then after the laws were removed to stop phone scamming on cell phones the DNC list was removed and the list was sold to companies, these companies use your number for marketing and then sell your number off to another to regain their money.  Best course of action if you can get someone is ask who they are as a company and if you can get their name, then ask them the date and time, the fact that they say it in their own words means you have legal right to sue for harassment if they continue to call, you will instantly be removed from their list is you ask this and because most companies say they cant hang up on you period you can abuse them all you want.
