Just got a call from this number. It was a cantonese-speaking woman who wouldn't say anything until I said "Hi" like five times. Then she asked for someone in my family (she actually said the name), and I said, "She's not here, who's this", thinking it was someone we know. Then the lady asked if this was home or cell phone. I said home, then she hung up...I called the number back, but like everyone else, I just get a dial tone. :S

The call can be coming from a line that is internet based and thus coming from an IP address.  I get a few of these calls from clients to my office and the (604) 629-2009 number shows up because they are using an IP to make the call.

i just got a call from this number and it kept ringing and ringing it never went to my voice mail i had to take the battery out to turn it off.  it went on for 2 minutes before i took the battery out i was in the shower and i could hear my cell going off like crazy.  some people just need to get a life

They freaking called my cell phone and my parents.Any answer to who they are??

I just signed up for SKYPE and tried a test call to my cell - it showed as this number
