The call can be coming from a line that is internet based and thus coming from an IP address. ?I get a few of these calls from clients to my office and the (604) 629-2009 number shows up because they are using an IP to make the call.

They called my cell last night and said they were doing a banking survey which I believed.  The questions were pretty standard and no personal info was given, but still.  I do understand this is a masked number provided by Primus for people who don't want their number displayed on caller ID (and I can understand a survey company wouldn't).  I only picked it up because it was my cell and I didn't think to check caller ID.  I don't answer any calls at home unless I know the #.  I've asked Primus about it but don't really expect an answer.  Anyway, that's my history with this number.

i dial, but it doesnt ring. instead there's a steady dial tone...

604 is vancouvers area code, do you guys live in vancouver? i do so i thought it was a friend....

Got call tonight at 8:54 pm, no one there and just hung up.

survey here too. asked me 2 questions about tourism, then told me about a company's promotion, but that company's doing electronic products!! then she asked my full name, I said this is privacy and refused, she insisted, and her attitude's rude!! WTF
