This number keeps calling and keep hanging up on them. I quite enjoy the slamming the phone down on their ears. This last time they phoned, I actually answered and pressed for more information (pretending to take a message). The number she gave me was:1-(416) 955-0374 ext 277 and her name was Britney...something or other. Didn't pay attention to her last name. Calling from the "Foundation and Endowment Group". Yeah right?! Sure enough, I called the 416 number and nothing! Oh well, back to my slamming down the phone.

I never relinquish my information to any sources over the internet, but it occurred to me that my information may have been taken from a job posting website as I've been responding to help ads. It's the only thing I've done different in the last while and could explain why a marketer now has my info.
As well, the website posted a warning(well after the fact) of some one posting fake ads to steal information(Craigslist). Beware.

I got 3 phone calls from an annonymous number 000-012-3456 and then the 2 phone calls from number was (604) 629-2009. When I call back, there's no answer and no ringing. Weird!!!

How did they get your number?  Well the government started the do not call list but then after the laws were removed to stop phone scamming on cell phones the DNC list was removed and the list was sold to companies, these companies use your number for marketing and then sell your number off to another to regain their money.  Best course of action if you can get someone is ask who they are as a company and if you can get their name, then ask them the date and time, the fact that they say it in their own words means you have legal right to sue for harassment if they continue to call, you will instantly be removed from their list is you ask this and because most companies say they cant hang up on you period you can abuse them all you want.
