I got a call from this number asking questions about my banking experience.  At the end the caller asked about the amount that I can come up to make investment and my name.  I naively gave out such information and asked the caller to keep them confidential.  When I realized there could be a leak, it was too late to take it back.  As a member of the society, I feel I have the obligation to help others in doing market research.  But, I think I am wrong.  I will decline to answer such a call from now on.

i just got a call from this number and it kept ringing and ringing it never went to my voice mail i had to take the battery out to turn it off.  it went on for 2 minutes before i took the battery out i was in the shower and i could hear my cell going off like crazy.  some people just need to get a life

this number called 4 times this morning, with in 3 hours.. i answered it twice and both time there is a woman speaking mandarin to me and mentioned something about some survey.. i told them i dont understand mandarin and i hung up.

Big scammers! Just got a call from this number. Keep your numbers to yourself, do not give your phone numbers out! Be aware

we received 2 telus (vancouver) phone numbers two months ago, and we have had been receiving about 15 nuisance calls both  day & night, with the persistant long beeps as mentioned above, and the calls are almost always labeled "unavailable name & number" on our call display. After numerous calls to Telus, we have been instructed to pay for call screen *60, activate anonymous call block *77, and that we add our number's to the national "Do not call list". This number (604) 629-2009 is the first identifiable number we've seen so far. We have had to turn our ringers off on the phones before we go to bed at night so we're not woken up anymore by these ridiculous & annoying nuisance calls. It's very frustrating but hopefully with all the telephone add-ons it will slowly come to a stop. I think Telus should be held responsible somehow for supplying numbers that may have been problem lines or I dont'really know, its just not acceptable.

Just missed "the call" but it was on my call missed. I entered it in my contacts as spam so I can see easily when it rings. I will add other garbage #'s as well. BUT I hope it isn't a calling card # and my mom calls and I don't answer. Oh well I have voice mail. Great site.
