I just got a call from this number... said he was doing a Rogers Wilreless promo and that I won a free phone.  I told him I wasn't interested and hung up.  I 'Google'd the phone number (604) 628-2598) and found this thread..  Just thought I'd post my experience..

i think it's from a jail pay phone

Hah, this call called me today around 5-7pm.

Picked up, no response. So I just sat, left my phone on, munched on my food, let the caller hear my munching, I even sang and annoyed (IF there is anyone listening) out loud.

Then I heard a "hang up" sound.

Geez, reading the earlier comments. I see "threats" being mentioned from this number. Now I'm quite "curious" in a way.

they tole me i won a free cell phone
and they are calling from bell
but i have to pay 25 dollars each month

(604) 628-2598 called twice at six am. ?Fax ring, but no fax received.  Suspect fax telemarketing.

I missed this call a few of times,when i call back just could not,i feel it is kind of scame,before this one guy call me told samiliar story,he works out of Canada,own half million,and then need some money for something,kind of scame,so just let everybody know,it is real scame number.
