Got a call to from a guy saying that he wasBrian from the mortgage center. I asked which one and  he said that he was calling from the corporate office of the mortgage center. Then he told me my name and address and guestimate my interest rate, telling me that I could have better. I asked again which mortgage center and then he said that he was calling from triple A, an organization that deals with all the mortage in the province. I finally told him that he was wasting him time and he hung up.Those people should be in jail!

I got a call from this number.  A lady said she was calling from the mortgage centre.  I told her my mortgage is fine and I don't need to discuss it.  She told she told she wasn't selling mortgages.  I asked her which bank she is from and she said she represented all banks.  I told her that I didn't believe her and hung up on her.  People usually deal with one specific bank or broker.  I doubt those banks or brokers would share our information to other parties.

After a hesitation he abruptly hung up. I called back and got an out of service message. I then reported it to RCMP who took my complaint and asked me to call an Anti Fraud Org at +1 888-495-8501. I called and reported it saying I had heard offMortgage tampering. They felt it was info gathering and said they had received a number of complaints on that number.
