just got a call from (604) 524-8886 a minute ago. i picked up and there was nothing except for that scratchy air sound on phones sometimes then there was a faint "hello" then dead silence. the ID said V12141813430004...

Idiots keep calling my cell even though I told them I don't even have a gas line. 2 months ago they said "sorry, we'll take you off our list." Yeah right.
I don't want their services even if I did have gas. I'd rather use Beano.
Plus their caller ID shows up as their fax line.

We are not a marketing company or a scam. We are a small business with a call center in Burnaby.However, we are using a new phone system and on discovery of this thread I realize that it is not working properly. The caller display should always show our phone number and once removed from our list you should never receive a call again. If you do not provide a phone number then it is impossible for me to remove you from our database. If you asked one of our agents to remove you and still received a call later then this means they made a mistake and did not code you as a Do Not Call. If this is the case please call our office on (604) 568-9044 or (604) 524-8886 or e-mail info @ bestheating.ca and ask to speak to Sue. Irriating calls more than once a day and all you get is dead air until an automated message just says "goodbye" The id that comes up is always different but it starts with V0 and a dozen numbers. Very frustrating!!
