Actually, here is the real deal on these guys.They are not russian, they are romanian and they believe you to be romanianalso and want to sell you long distance phone plans.  I know because I speakromanian although I am not romanian.  They have been calling my house for the past few months (probably around 15 times) and it is always someone different.They do not erase your name, either out of spite for having failed or because they are simpletons, but when you see this number, don't pick up, or pick up and tell them the following: pizda moti (pronounced pees-da-mo-tee)and hang up.They will get the message!CheersRichard

By the way they are not Romanian or Russian. They can speak almost every language as they we able to speak my mother tongue too.

The reason they think you are romanian is either because
1) you are
2) you have a romanian last name
3) you have a spouse or family member with a romanian last name
4) you have a last name that sounds romanian - i.e: ends with a "u"
such as: dominescu, bogdanescu...you get the picture
5) a romanian had your phone number before so they have that on file
6) none of the above -they are simpletons

if they call and you wish to try to talk sense into them, pick up and ask them to tell you what your last name is.  That is the key - the last name.
