Just had a message from (604) 519-5000 from a guy named Will whose team is doing painting right now "in my neighbourhood". Strange thing is I called Student Painters this morning for a quote and then this guy calls.

This is the number of a Cell Phone tower. Often when you call a 1-800 from a cellphone the Cell Phone tower's number will show up on the caller id.

Be carefull, if you *67 to these numbers, they will STILL SEE YOUR NUMBER.

Like mentioned above, this is a number of a cell phone tower or something to that effect. When calling toll free numbers it will show up as the person calling even though it isn't.I know because I just called a company in the US toll free from Vancouver and they said it was showing up that I was calling from this weird number and they wouldn't discuss my account because it didn't match the number on file... It was unsettling but I guess this obviously happens to a lot more people than me...Weird...

Weird..I just called Telus (from my cellphone)to make a payment for my LANDLINE phone and Telus asked if the account I was making a payment for was for the number "(604) 519-5000". I said "No", but it makes me wonder WHY/HOW my cellphone number was associated with an account/phone number that I have NOTHING to do with?? That means their database is linking me with a number that is not mine!
