Just got the call...updat my Profile info??? The credit. Add companies have everything they need from me and they wouldn't have some moron cold calling. The guy I talked asked which credit card I'd want to update??? Really, that screams of scam! If you call me to update my credit card info you'd have my number. Don't call me again!

Scammer - Do not reveal any personal information. Don't believe what they say. Hang up !

Now, I just Off hook Then off hook the phone. Do they really believe themselves. Sure. Here is my credit card number... Oh and please, could you have a thicker accent when calling Quebec Canada. Sheesh.

They called me to off a lifetime lowest interest rate on my visa or MC. I told them I don't have either and they hung up on me immediately!! How rude!

Called ,  i said hello, no answer right away so i hung up , scam i guess

Just had a call from this number.  Realised it was a scam from the message but thought I'd let them know I knew so maybe they wouldn't bother me again.  Pressed 1. When I got a real voice (accent was male, probably between 19 and 30-ish, fairly high pitched, could have been anywhere from Ethiopia through to Bangladesh .... not much help I know) I played along for about a minute to see if I could get any clues but other than the accent there was nothing to go on.  When I called them out and told them what I thought of them they became abusive, threatened to "F***" me stating they had all my credit card details and that they were going to "F*** with me".  They were completely un-phased when I said I'd be reporting them to the police and I obviously had their phone number.  He got really sleazy and kept on with this "I'm gonna F*** with you, you know I can.  I got all your credit card details."  I told him in similar language what he was and hung up.  Has anyone reported this to the police and if so what was the reaction.  I have a friend whose former RCMP from that area so I'll be discussing with her.  I can only imagine a vulnerable or naive person could easily fall victim to this type of criminal.
