Same scammers as others have reported. Called right at dinnertime (5:57 pm). Recorded message:  'If you're tired of being bothered by creditors.... ' I've blocked the number and also reported this outfit to Canada's CRTC. I'm on the do not call list...for all the good it does.

The reason you cannot call this number back is because this number is what is called a "spoofed" number.  They fool your called ID into believing this is the number that they are calling from, when in fact they are not calling from that number.  This is sometimes done by collection agencies when you will not answer their 800 numbers that identify them.  You can look up "spoofed calls" on the web to see how it is done technically.  Hope this helps everyone.

They call everyday!! Please have them stop if you can.

They call a few times a day & won't leave a message...not even sure which company this is....

This is really getting tiresome.  604 area code is from British Columbia.  The company called me this afternoon and it was a recording going on about credit debt.  I am so tired of this kind of stuff.  I tried to call the number and it says it is out of service and then it says it is not available at this time.  Can't even make up their mind what they want to tell you.  Since this is a number calling within Canada, they under violation of the privacy act.  I am on a do not call list and they are not supposed to be calling unless you have done business with this company.  I don't do business with these people since I do not have any credit card debt or any debt of any kind.  I don't know how to stop their calls.Sorry for you "newfiegirl".  That is just not right to be calling at those hours and you with an ill parent!!
