Received the following text on my cell phone:"Universal Leasing is granting loans with viable business plans up to the tune of $500M. No credit Check. Email: ..." and an email address with a .uk ending.Of course, the area code is a British Columbia one. I live in Ontario. Looked legit to me, but other spam / telemarketer reporting sites indicated that this is a scam op. My biggest issue is that text cost me $0.35 from my pay-as-you-go account. I'll not comment on the so-called National Do Not Call Registry.
