I called the Telus Complaint Line at(1-+1 800-567-0000). They informed me that the number is registered to ILC Telecom Inc.I'm registered on the National Do Not Call List. A complaint was registered (1-+1 866-580-3625) with them with regards to the 5 calls that I received. They informed me that the 4 (7:00a)calls that I received were in violation. This can amount to four separate fines levied against the Tele Marketer.

I received 5 calls today on my cell phone from this number. There was back ground noise at the other end with no voice response.
Calls received at 7:37a, 7:38a, 7:54a, 7:55a and 11:31a
Any ideas how I can stop the caller from calling my cell?

my mother received same fraud call, someone posing as her 'grandson' (my son) saying he was in a city 4 time zones away at a 'music festival'she questioned the caller's identity who hung up immediately.

Unknown caller asked for me by name.  When I told him I was the person and asked him what he wanted, he asked me if he had awakened me and then said the RCMP wanted to talk to me.  I remarked fine, put them on the line, at which point he hung up.

Its a collection company.

They pretend to be the relative "Please dont tell my parents as I have been drinking but I need help to pay a $4400 fine" "Send to my lawyer through Western Union" Call is likely a cold call that just happens to catch the contacted individual at a vulnerable moment. Caller appears to be from Vancouver East Side
