I had a call today from the same number asking for my ebay user name...

This number called to me, and they said they from ebay, and she asked about items on ebay what's item its mine? and i said ebay not call to anybody and then she hang up the phone!!!

Just spoke with eBay Customer Support on live chat. And the Support said that "eBay is an Online Company, as far as I know we do not provide Phone Support, nor we call our eBay Members"I suggest that you change your password ASAP, because the person that just called me few moments ago, knew my name, and of course the phone so if you did not receive an e-mail from eBay, (automated one) that someone requested your information's its very likely that this person that called you, knows your password already.

I received a call from the same number. Talked with them and stressed my concerns about the call being a possible scam and the warnings we are all so familar with while utilizing ebay. When I refused to answer their questions they said that alternative measures would be taken against my acount, and they reassured me they wouldnt need any passwords or sensitive information. Just simply my user ID and one item I was selling for cross reference purposes....As soon as I answered the question they hung up on me...How rude!!
