Called today at 11:-00 AM 3-Feb-13, no answer back but could hear breathing like someone overweight and struggling a bit. Scam of some kind -probably pissed because I always say no to robo calls and polls - just way too many these days and too many scams.

I've been having calls from this number as of September 2012. Not impressed.

Called the number back within 5 minutes and received an answering machine claiming that the number is no longer in service. What bull****. Don't pick up. SCAMMERS. 07Sept2012 @ 7PM.

I do not give to the SPCA and I am getting this number on my phone .  Did not answer it.

They have called MANY times I never answer as I am on a minutes plan with my cell phone but they never leave a message. If it is the SPCA I am not impressed with there being no message left. But would make sense as I have done a charity run for them in the past.

Got a call from this number today, April 6, 2011.  I have caller ID and don't recognize this number.  Googled the number and apparently alot of other people are getting calls from this number as well.

SO THESE IDIOTS PHONING YOU FROM THIS NUMBER 604-248-5257 ARE ( CRAZY,SICK PEOPLE ) AND (SCAM ARTISTS.)  GLAD YOU DID NOT ANSWER IT, AND I ALSO DID NOT ANSWER THIS CALL,AS I HAVE CALL DISPLAY FOR THE LAST 20 YEARS OR MORE...SO THE JOKE IS ON THEM..LOL.  I ONLY ANSWER CALLS FROM CLOSE FAMILY,FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS,AND NOT FROM THESE WASTED RETARDS.

Happen to me today..the story is the same as described by OlIl above:-had same thing happen...called # back & recording from a polling company came on with option to be taken off calling list, which I did right away...will take 48 hrs...hopefully works!!So let me also see whether this works or not/

Have CID. Keep getting calls from that number. Never answer. Last one Aug. 8, 5:09pm.
