This number is also being used to target people, usually vicitms 55 years and up, and trick them into giving out their credit card number which they in turn use fraudulently with various merchants.

Just got a call from this number. Same thing as above, no voicemail and cannot call the number back.

This number shows up when I call forward my Bell Mobility phone to a toll free number. I believe (604) 216-1057 is the pilot number used for voip or toll free service

I was online with Telus and their automated system said that I was calling from this number even though my cell phone is not even near this number.  When I checked online it appears that other people are having the same problem. If Telus picks up on the automation, then I am wondering how this phone number gets 'attached' somehow to our numbers?
