Don't think getting a cell phone will stop the calls - they have been calling mine ever since I got it in Sept on Vancouver Island.

YES! I find the only way to avoid telemarketers and robot callers is to have a cell phone only. I cannot believe the only calls I get on my home phone are 99% telemarketers and robot Dialers. Why bother with a home phone number anymore. It is freakin ridiculous. I keep it mostly for faxes, but that is going the way of the DoDo bird as well.
