Got a call from this number today and the person said they where from essex london ?in states was someone i knew but wierd how do they get that number there to call here

Tried a reverse search and was told that the number wasnt listed. I've also tried calling the number and i get an automated "Sorry the number dialed is not in service" This is someone at bell doing this so you will use up your minutes or pay for other services to block or trace ect. If anyone has any info post it here and I will look after them.

Recieved call from (519) 837-9008 Did not answer when I said hello, was on line for a few seconds but then they hang up. Who is this call from do not wish to have calls from this number. Called Saturday at 1:08 pm. Unknown.

I got this call a few minutes ago .... The person on the phone tried to tell me he was from Bell and Bell mobility and mumbled a bunch of incoherent speech. I said that I did not understand what he said so he proceeded to mumble his message again but louder. I responded that I still didn't understand his message so he proceeded to shout at the top of his lungs. I shouted back that it was not the volume that was the problem but his lack of expertise with the English language. He said ok and hung up. The reason the calls will continue is that this guy was not close enough for me to put my hands on him ............... I have filed a complaint with CRTC's DNCL and also sent a letter to George Cope Pres & CEO Bell. It will be interesting to find out if anything changes. I am not holding my breath. Hugh

We receive calls from this number at least three or four time a week. Usually early morning. Tried a reverse search and was told that the number wasnt listed for anyone in Canada. I've also tried calling the number and i get an automated "Sorry the number dialed is not in service"
