This guy just called me and told me he was from windows computers , lol Microsoft never calls you out the blue like that its a scam there want old people so the can take there money . I've tried calling RCMP I have no tone 9/28/12 time 12:23 some on need to get this guy

I just got a call from this person on my cell phone while i was at work. They calle i tried to just let it ring but they would nt hang up who ever it was so i pressed ignor call. They called back RIGHT AWAY i pressed ignor again, then i tried calling them from my work, but it was busy.. why?... BECAUSE THEY WERE CALLING ME AGAIN!!!!!!!It finaly stopped. and i still tried to call them back but its always busy. I think it might be some kind of tele-marketer

Turns out, this is not from International Media Partners, apparently, the criminals have started using that company's name. These callers  may actually be "phishing", so therefore criminals.

I got a call from the Indian man named Brian.he wants to have Absolute Quality Services clean my ducts.....he is going to call me back on Monday..I am going to check the BBB and tell him I have checked him out...I wonder if they really provide the service..last time I had this kind of call it was for Mr Tankless for a water heater..advertised in the paper and I called...they never provided my product but they sent me the contract for the loan from Crelogix in BC...finally got the Crelogix thing stopped..the sales person came to the house....I was ready to have this product installed but they never came to do it...called BBB....they arent members so you can complain but they cant be dealt with....I will check with the BBB on Monday about this Absolute Quality Home Service and warn them to stop calling. I have a feeling they come, book you..take your money and then never show up...I think I will call Sears...lol

I got the same thing as Melanie- I answered and they said "thank you for calling ?? media group". But  I hadn't called them. They put me in a call queue, I waited for a bit to see what it was all about, but then hung up

Just received a call from them claiming to be Visa (which I do not have) I requested my name be taken off of their list and they proceeded to tell me that was not possible and that I should listen, I told them I don't have a Visa. They told me my points had earned me a 2 weeks trip and I said i did not want a trip and would appreciate it if they would not call.The man who spoke with an Indian accent, terrible English started arguing with me saying that "people like me' need to stop and listen to what he is saying and not to jump to conclusions? Hello? You called ME!I hung up, and about 30 seconds later i turned my phone on to dial that number but when i turned my phone back on he was still there, and had heard me dialing then proceeded to ask me who I was attempting to contact!I asked to speak with his manager, which he responded with 'what are your reasons for that"' and I said I'd like to speak with someone who can speak English, then he started arguing with me again!No idea how he got my number, as he asked for me by maiden name.
