My kids and I have received several calls from this number everyday (multiple times a day for many weeks), today I answered and a woman with a heavy italian accent first began speaking in english and then switched to italian asking for my recently deceased husband by his full name. She refused to give the name of her company and quickly hang up. I did not answer any of her questions. It is very concerning that other comments in this chatroom mention a deceased spouse and we wonder about identity theft and if they are targeting vulnerable widows? We are reporting this number to the RCMP and we encourage everyone else to do the same.

I have also been getting called by this number the last couple of days... someone asked for me by name yesterday when I wasn't home - didnt want to leave a message - just didn't answer it today...

Once again, this is a number that if you call it back you get a message indicating it is not a working number!  Who are these people?!  They call several times a day!

They have been calling us once or twice every day for the past several weeks. Usually they hang up when they get the answering machine, with a couple of recent exceptions: a person who sounded like a teen boy muttered something about our unusual voicemail recording and then said "Is Wawa there?" then hung up. Another time, there was about five seconds of background noise of a room full of people before the hangup. One day when I actually picked up, the caller, a woman with a really thick accent, said something like, "Thees ees (unintelligible). Thees ees NOT a feelm school. Thees ees Jessica. Ees (my husband's name - not surprisingly as it is in the phone book) there."Me: "No."Jessica: "What ees hees cell phone number."Me: mutter something; hang up.Next time I pick up, I'm going to string them along and agree with everything they say and pretend to be interested, as I have done in the past with "Microsoft" scammers. Either that, or scream obscenities into the phone...............
