not having it

We just received a call from this number, and the "representative" from Alliance Communications said he was calling on behalf of Bell to thank us for our patronage and to offer us some savings off our bill....or some sh*t. We asked to be taken off the call list, at which time the rep ASKED FOR OUR BELL PASSWORD in order to be taken off the list but that "it wasn't going to be used to unlock anything." Yeah, right, by definition that's what a password does! It is a key. So we asked if Bell had, in fact, authorized them to do so, and if so, why didn't the rep know who he was talking to, at which point the rep became even more sketchy  and unsure sounding. We both basically agreed that it was nonsense and then hung up. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR PASSWORD to these guys. Am calling Bell now to complain. Please do the same.
