Some woman asked for me by name, was rude to my wife before the phone was handed to me. Asked if I live at "x" address which was wrong. I said no and she gave a canned apology and hung up.

They are a scam. They pretend to be MS Windows techs and try to sell you a Registry scanner. DO NOT believe them when they say your computer is ready to crash!

Calls and keeps hanging up

On Monday july 5th, 2010 at 11:54 am, a Pakistan or Indian guy called my house saying that he is from T- Mobile and wanted to offered me their services. I told him No, Thanks also stop calling me every single day when i told you guys that I'm not interested on your service, and i hung up the phone. A minute later ( 11:55 am ) he calls back and told me " you are f***ing b***h "First they call me from this # 012-3456Then, he called me from (519) 663-0647 to insult.

This pakistani hindu bastard or whatever the hell he is, called and pretended to be from some internet company or service and pretended that he was some authority or something.  He claimed we were uploading too much stuff to his server and wanted to talk to the person who uses the computer.

He wants to steal login and password information from internet customers and/or install a virus on your computer so they can steal all your bank information and personal information:
  SO THAT THEY CAN STEAL YOUR IDENTITY and STEAL MONEY FROM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT!

He wants to steal personal information, by simply asking you to answer some security questions.

DO NOT ANSWER THEM!!!

Then the stupid bastard called back and talked to my mom, he said to her "LET ME TALK TO THAT GUY I JUST TALKED TO NOW"  she yelled my name and said this guy wants to talk to you.  

I told him F*** OFF and don't call here again and hung up!

THEY USE FEAR to control you and try to steal from you, by claiming bu***hit that isn't true.

If that was really true, you would get a letter from Bell Canada or Rogers Canada, and maybe a phonecall from the REAL COMPANIES!!!

This is a VOIP (and probably a Skype) gateway, not a personal number. That means you can get 1000 different people calling out through it, some of them your mom or your buddy overseas, others being people trying to hide behind the gateway to do Bad Things.

I know this because I use a VOIP provider so that people long distance can get a hold of me without paying long distance, and when I forward that VOIP phone number to my cellphone, it goes through this number (and this is what shows up on my caller ID when people call me.)

East Indian - I think , Male caller claiming to be from Window's 7, said he was calling to inform me my computer is being hacked and the hackers are using my IP address - but he couldn't tell me what version  of windows i was running, or what my provider was or what my IP address was (Microsoft would have that info).

Answered call   they did not speak   told them to grow up they hung up on me   the number was(519) 663-0637
