I got a call from Quality Home Service. It didn't show the number, but it was Anonimus. I answered the phone and i told him that i need the service. Left an appointment for Monday 18 March. I'll take a picture of the car and number plate before i'll open the door and after that i'll explain to the technician  that i'm in the no call list and that I'm reporting him at CRTC for illegal telemarketing calls. I think this is the only way to face these people. Let them learn by paying for the wrongdoings. Whoever want to follow my example, the number of CRTC for complains is 1-+1 866-580-3625Lets try together to stop them.

I got a call from Absolute Quality just now and when I told the guy that we are on the no call list, he proceeded to reply with "I want to f#@k you".  Sadly, we do not have call display so I couldn't say if the call came in as private or not.  Needless to say, I am pretty pissed.

Received a call today from Absolute Quality Home Service for duct cleaning, they claim to be in Whitby.  I had to ask the caller the name of the company 3 times as he spoke so fast and with a very heavy accent, I asked him where in Whitby the company was and he would only say they are in Whitby.  When I asked for the company phone # the caller started getting irritated and then hung up on me.  THERE IS NO ABSOLUTE QUALITY HOME SERVICE in Whitby.I received this call on a Sunday afternoon; is it not against the law to do telemarketing on Sunday??

I was called today by the same company, "Absolute quality home services" today. I allowed him to talk and took the time to ask him questions and find our more about their company. He advised me that they have a long history of service in Ontario. I was unable to find any reference to the company in Canada on the Internet, other than this original posting about the do not call list.

I asked the person if they refer to the do not call list before contacting people. He didn't seem to know who I was and then attempted suggest that I had previous services of duct cleaning, windows or door services, carpet cleaning and the like in the last year. He certainly seems to have the answers to the questions down well. I clarified that I had never contacted this company, had any of their services, nor had I even heard of them. He quickly exited from the call.

So much for the do not call list when companies are bypassing it by outsourcing the calling centres to outside Canada.
Oh well, the list has definitely significantly reduced the number of calls I deal with.
