GreenShield Windows. I used to work for these f***ers. My advice: DON'T. You WILL be screwed around, out of hours, offered no benefits, and classed as a "subcontractor" (meaning they don't have to pay taxes or benefits and can let you go at anytime for any reason). They offer net to no training or coaching, and still demand a certain volume of results each night or your shifts will be cut to next to nothing. On calls, it is encouraged to be loud, obnoxious, and borderline rudely persistant to customers. Calls also seem to violate the CRTC's rules for outbound telemarketing calls. Management changes frequently, and new management has no respect for employees that have been there for longer or for methods that actually attempt to HELP a customer. There is NO opportunity for advancement. My advice, Students looking for a summer job, DON'T fall for GreenShield's propoganda. They will try to dupe highschool students into signing on to thier corrupt organization. And let's not forget the nasty little suprises, like not properly scrubbing the list against the national DO NOT CALL list. Or calling back customers that have been "lost" from another phone line pretending to be some fictitious "Everest" windows.

And they really do terrible workmanship on customers for extremely inflated prices.

I have received may calls from these guys. They claim they manufacture windows but initially refused to provide the address for the so called factory. After 15 minutes and 2 layers of managers finally they state the factory location is 220 Viceroy road in Vaughan.
Google street view shows a strip mall at this address not a factory. The London location is a retail store. Very misleading and untrustworthy in my opinion. They also got slapped $12000 from the CRTC for telemarketing practices that are off base.
Who would ever want to deal with an organization like that?

I've had a minimum of 12 calls from your company in the last few months. Each time I've said "DO NOT CALL US AGAIN"!!! I have registered 2 complaints via the do not call registry. I recently had to threaten to call the police in hopes that your company will stop calling us. Please stop bothering the people of Ontario. If our number is on the do not call registry - STOP CALLING!!!

I looked up the website and found their home office.  I called them and advised them they called me 7 times over the weekend and to have my number placed on their Do Not Call list.  I also advised them if they persist in calling, I will be calling the CRTC to report them.  This got her attention very quickly.  Call them at (519) 453-0000.  If enough people call them and tie up their phone lines, they'll spend less time doing business and find a new practice for soliciting.

Greenshield windows is a con artist who goes by the name of Dennis Wilmer, not his real name. There is no factory, just a phoney website. All the testimonials are faked, and  there is no building at 1761 Oxford St E, London. My parents let this creep into their home, and almost paid him a deposit for 2 over-priced windows... We are calling the police tomorrow, first thing.
