Is this a telemarketer or a very stupid kid?  This number has been trying to send a text to my unlisted land line.  I don't recognize the number.  They called a number of times this evening while I was trying to get dinner ready, just like telemarketers.  When I pick up to phone, a message says to press 1 to receive the text message.  I hang up.  My answering machine answered once and it recorded the tail end of a message.  If the caller receives an error message, a real person should try to call me directly so it makes me think that this is probably automated.  Who are they? What are they selling?  If I press the 1, is my phone company going to charge me?  Maybe it's an extremely stupid kid trying over and over again.  The name on the caller ID is just the number without the hypens so it looks like a business number.  People who know me know enough to send text messages to my cell phone.  If I try to phone them back from my land line, I will have to pay long distance fees.  If I phone them on my cell, they might start sending unwanted texts to it.  Has anyone else received a text message from this number?
