I keep getting calls, in the evening, from (514) 907-7605.  I answer and there is never anyone at the other end of the line.  But nonetheless they keep calling.  It's a pain.....

They called my Mom 67yrs old and convinced her they were affiliated with hydro quebec and it's energy saving programs and that their name was "Energie Quebec" or "Energy Quebec". They also convinced her to make and appointment to come into her house.  After, my mom asked if I could be there with her for the visit.. I lost it. I searched for the "energie Quebec" and different variations on google and other search engines..NOTHING! I tried calling back the number and it just rings and rings amd goes dead. Big scam imho, it could be window guys as a previous person mentioned but i'd rather err on the side of caution.I remmember 20yrs ago that a few vacumm salesmans would use the so called "visit" as a way to case your home and your habits i.e. find out if you vacationed & when, if you go out to eat/theater/concerts/sport events, etc...and this gives them enough information from casual conversations to know when and how and where to break into you home.This is fact not urban lore.  So this being said I've instructed my familly to never let in a salesman of anykind unless you called them and not the other way around.A sucker is born every minute, dont be one of them.
