it's a telemarketing company from Montreal. They sell insurance! Calls my cell phone once a day!

I just received an email from CRTC and it looks like the telephone companies are required to help on this. Here is their response:"The CRTC has set out telemarketing rules that the telephone companies are required to ensure their customers (i.e. telemarketers) follow. For your reference, below is a link to our Fact Sheet on the rules applicable to telemarketing activities. It explains how these issues are handled and recommends that you contact the privacy office of your local telephone company for assistance. It can be viewed at: http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/INFO_SHT/t1022.htm You will see in the linked information sheet above that your telephone company is required to assist customers in tracking unwanted callers. That is why if you have a problem, it is to be addressed with your telephone company and if they are not responsive, the CRTC will address these concerns with your telephone company on your behalf. Please note that the Telemarketing Rules are not effective when calls are being received from foreign telemarketers."

called many many times constantly without leaving messagei know no one from Montrealwho would that be?

They have been calling me once or twice daily for the last couple of months. I just placed a complaint on CRTC website. Please consider doing this yourself as it is likely that they take it into consideration if they receive enough number of complaints. I have the same problem!! Calling 3-4 times a day, I answer once in a while, hoping to give them an ear full... but when I answer, they hang up!!! Its so annoying!
