I did the same as "proactive". The company recording identified itself as:Canadian Premier Life & Legacy General Insurance.I phoned the # back and after asking for English/French selection, the automated menu asked if I wanted to add my phone number to the "Do not call" list to select menu option #1 and after confirming the phone number I typed in, it told me it would take up to 30 days to remove my number from the call list.

i've been receiving calls from this number everyday for the last 3 weeks...multiple times and sometimes late at night.  I never answer.  This is the most persistent caller I have ever received.  I just submitted a complaint to the nimrods at the CRTC.  Hope they take some action as my number is clearly on the do not call list.

Called claiming they were from CIBC and then tried to get private information from me.  I said I didn't feel comfortable giving out any information to a random caller claiming to be my bank and ended the phonecall.  They still call frequently, though, never leaving messages.  They are b*****ds.

These jerkos call me 3 times every day every morning at 10am around lunch and at dinner. I hate them.

Called on 3/14 at 11:09am; 3/13 at 7:35pm; 3/09 at 4:31pm; 3/06 at 8:44pm.
