I phoned the # back and after asking for English/French selection, the automated menu asked if I wanted to add my phone number to the "Do not call" list to select menu option #1 and after confirming the phone number I typed in, it told me it would take up to 30 days to remove my number from the call list.The company recording identified itself as:Canadian Premier Life & Legacy General Insurance
filed a crtc complaint at https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/index-eng If everyone did this eventually the govt would get off their butts and outlaw telemarketing completely by giving big fines to the phone companies that are making massive profits on these calls.
