I just rec'd this call.  It said Unknown Name.  I did not answer it as I did not recognize the area code or no identifying info.  Now that i know it is Canada,  I will definitely not answer.

Phone rang twice, and when I picked it up after second ring it had already disconnected. When I called the number back got the sounds of a fax machine.
The Do Not Call List apparently does no good.............. :(

Got a call at 6:27AM from (514) 731-4099. I answered thinking that at 6:30 in the morning it had to be a family emergency. Instead a robo voice was saying something about 'mystery' and 'available in Nevada...' I hung up before I could hear all of it..... and before I trashed my own phone in anger!

Complaints regarding telemarketing calls to from a Canadian number to a USA number or visa versa, when the recipient has listed his/her number with the two countries respective No-Call-List can be reported to http://www.econsumer.gov/.    These are for cross-border complaints.   If you have not signed up your home and personal mobile phones for the No-Call-List do so at (USA) https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx  and Canada https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/insnum-regnum-eng   If you have been subject to a cross border FRAUD, where you have lost money, or other thing of value, then make sure you contact the Consumer Protection Agency in your state or province and file a complaint with http://www.econsumer.gov/ as well.  Keep copies of all your information and complaints.
