SCAM   A male called my 84 year old mother and said he was her grandson (my son).  They had a long story with the key elements being:A childhood friend had died,My son was a passenger in a car driving to the funeral in New York with a young relative of the deceasedThe driver was pulled over for speedingThey searched the car and found 10 pounds of marijuana in the trunkMy son was in jail and needed $1480 for bailMy mother was totally sucked-in to the story and attempted to send the money via Western UnionWestern Union flagged the transaction and I (finally) got a call.
