I have to agree with the comments.. here i also am getting this number, but why are the phone companys not doing anything.?? i use telus.. they just dont seem to give a s**t, about the people paying the bill..

I just recieve a call from this number. The recording said they're calling from "Gouvernement du Canada and if you are a mother or a father of a child under 18 years old, press 1..." I don't remember the last part of this recording. I just turn off my telephone.

These have been calling me 2-3 times a day for the last 2 weeks, never leaving a message, so I decided not to answer. I filed a complaint to the CRTC, but unfortunately it seems that polling firms are excluded from the DNCL list. ARGH!

The call is from Montreal area and includes a French version of the question/survey: If you have a child, under the age of 16, in the home and your family income is $38,000 or less, press '1'.
