It's a legit RBC fraud outbound center

NOT rbc security. The people saying this is rbc security are eithier the scammers or just really stupid.A) rbc security only sends out automated message saying to call them at a different number.B) you really think rbc is going to have a local Quebec number.This is a scam phishing call trying to get your info.

from rbc (credit card security centre) attempting to verify a (legitimate) manual post to my credit card. am glad they are this alert.

Got a call from this number saying they were credit card security, they asked for a certain person, to whom has never worked for us. But, her ex husband does to whom has not been associated with her since way before he started working her like 10 years ago. So, hmmmmm what does that tell you??? these people are NOT LEGIT!!!!

Got an automated call, hung up sure it was bogus. Two days later, a woman called saying she was from RBC Visa security and started going on about a suspicious charge to my card. I asked for a number to call back, she said call the number on the back of the card, and she gave me her name and a case number. I still thought it was bogus because it sounded like phishing. I decided to call the number on back of the card to let them know somebody was trying to trick me. To my extreme surprise they confirmed both the automated call and woman calling, then asked me if a charge to a charity is legit, I said no. So RBC Visa did a good job catching this. Still, I told them they shouldn't do automated calls, or a person calling up the way they did. Suggested they simply call and say something may be up with the credit card and to call the number on the back of the card as soon as possible. Floyd. August 9, 2012.
